Job summary

Petco is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide professional grooming services, delivering outstanding care and style for each pet. You will bath, dry, cut, and groom with attention to safety, comfort, and customer satisfaction in a busy grooming salon.

Ideal candidates have completed the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or proven grooming training, and a high school diploma is preferred. Weekend/evening availability is required; we offer competitive pay, benefits, 401k, PTO, and Petco Discounts.

Qualifications

• Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training completed.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nails, ears, and gland cleaning.
• Operate grooming tools and maintain a clean, sanitary salon.
• Prioritize pet safety and comfort and communicate with pet parents.
• Educate clients on at-home grooming and care.
• Maintain adherence to Petco policies and hygiene standards.
• May train or supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
