Job summary

Best Friends Pet Care Inc. seeks an experienced Pet Stylist to groom dogs (and cats if certified) of all sizes, ensuring they look their best. Responsibilities include brushing, nail trimming, and add-on services in a busy salon.

We are an employee-owned company with growth opportunities, over 80 locations nationwide, and 30 years in business. You must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of grooming experience or professional training.
• High school diploma is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in an environment with disinfectants and salon sanitation chemicals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; patient with animals.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to fulfill grooming requests.
• Groom dogs (and cats if certified) of all sizes.
• Brush, trim nails, and perform add-on services.
• Maintain organized, hygienic work area and sanitize tools between pets.
• Assist with inventory and report equipment issues.

The hourly pay range for this position is $20 to $25 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, schedule availability, geographic location, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for incentives and overtime opportunities, where applicable. Where required by law, employees will be compensated at least the applicable minimum wage for all hours worked.
