Best Friends Pet Care in Franklin, TN seeks experienced pet stylists to groom dogs (and cats if certified) and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a clean work area, meet grooming deadlines and support inventory management. This role offers ESOP participation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years of grooming experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Groom dogs (and cats if certified) to client specifications.
• Brush, trim nails and perform add‑on services.
• Maintain sanitary work area and sanitize tools between pets.
• Consult with customers to ensure satisfaction and recommend services.

Always interacts with customers in a warm, friendly and professional mannerPractices timeliness -starts shift on time, and finishes pets before promised timeConscientiously performs all aspects of the grooming service to Best Friends expectations of qualityMust have the ability to groom all breeds, style all fur types and is able to complete specific breed styles requested by clientWorks in an organized and hygienic manner. Keeps work area free of hair and clutter and sanitizes tools and compartments between petsUnderstands the purpose of products and uses them appropriately, follows label directions. Assists Manager maintain inventory by reporting stock levelsTreats equipment and tools with care and helps with simple maintenance.
