Qualifications

• Experience in canine & feline grooming services required.
• Competence in basic record keeping and scheduling.
• Knowledge of Fear Free protocols and sedation procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide grooming services including bathing, haircuts, and nail trims.
• Collaborate with the Patient Care team to ensure excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area and equipment.

VCA College Hill Animal Hospital is excited to expand our team and is currently seeking a Pet Stylist—Pet Groomer!

Schedule: Full-time opportunity.

• Our hospital is open Monday - Saturday
• Pet Grooming Tuesday-Friday & 1 Saturday a month

Compensation: Compensation will be based on a $17/hr base salary, with a 55% commission.

• Canine & Feline Services
• Bathing & Brushing
• Haircuts- Basic & Breed Specific
• Fear Free Chill Protocol Grooms
• Sedated Grooms
• Nail Trims
• Face to Face Interaction with our clients
• Basic record keeping.
• Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure grooming patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.
• Basic Scheduling
• Cleaning of Cages & Salon
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
