Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Team Member who is passionate about people and pets. You’ll provide neighborly service, stock shelves, process purchases, and help customers choose products while learning the ins and outs of pet care in a friendly, fast-paced setting.

Roles include cashier, stocker, and pet care duties with opportunities to advance. You’ll work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and participate in pay-for-knowledge training programs. 16+ and a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional neighborly service to customers shopping for pets.
• Help customers compare pet products and answer questions about care.
• Assist with shelving, stocking and cashier duties.
• Educate customers on pet care and product options.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and ring up neighbors' purchases.
• Help a neighbor select the perfect toy or harness for their pet.
• Review ingredient labels on pet foods to guide pet parents.
• Educate customers about pet care and products to help them find the right item.
• Provide care for pets in store as needed (clean habitats, feeding).
