Job summary

The Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Gainesville, FL seeks a PET/SPECT Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our Nuclear Services department. The role involves performing PET and SPECT procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Requirements include a Florida license, ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT registration, and BLS/ACLS. Travel to Lake City may be required; non-exempt, full-time position with a sign-on bonus of $5,000.

Qualifications

• Florida licensure required.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT registration.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate SPECT and PET imaging equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and inject radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.
• Perform quality control checks on imaging systems and record results.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and confidentiality during procedures.
• Complete paperwork with proper order, diagnosis and documentation.
