NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a Professional Pet Bather to join our Pet Spa team in Denver. This hands-on role focuses on safe, thorough bathing, sanitation, and effective communication with pet parents.

Bathers work within the Grooming and Spa team under safety guidelines and partner with Groomers to ensure all services meet our standards. The position emphasizes timely baths, attention to detail, and strong communication, with opportunities for growth within NVA.

Qualifications

• Comfortable communicating with pet parents
• Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Perform professional bathing services as requested by clients
• Brush out coats, dry pets, trim nails, clean ears
• Monitor pets for stress or health concerns
• Ensure water and potty breaks during extended appointments
• Follow safe handling procedures for nervous or reactive pets
• Review notes and service history before each appointment
• Communicate with pet parents about services and pickup times
• Document detailed notes in the computer system
• Alert leadership to health or safety concerns
• Maintain sanitation and organization of bathing areas
