Role: Pet Boarding Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

As a Pet Boarding Assistant Manager at K9 Resorts of Fairfield, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work with both people and dogs. You will assist in managing daily operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and overseeing employees across all aspects of the resort. Flexibility is key, as you'll need to fill in wherever needed. Weekend and holiday hours are required.

Pet Boarding Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

Achieve the mission and goals of K9 Resorts.

Maintain a strong resort culture by adhering to Company Values and Mission.

Familiarize yourself with budgets, revenue, and controllable expenses.

Empower employees to take responsibility for their roles and goals; delegate tasks and expect accountability and feedback.

Follow all operational procedures as outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.

Be knowledgeable of all basic functions of the point-of-sale system.

Open the building in the morning and ensure its security at closing.

Provide tours of the facility to potential customers.

Develop and implement pet feeding/medication schedules, and feed/medicate dogs when necessary.

Be capable of performing any job requirement of any staff member at any time.

Pet Resort Assistant Manager Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of management experience in pet boarding, kennel management, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail.

Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.

Demonstrate a love for dogs.

Well-organized and detail-oriented.
