Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a PET Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Chemist I to support the safe production and use of PET radiopharmaceuticals for research and clinical diagnostic use. You will work under the Manager of PET Production Chemistry across the production facility, analytical lab and clean room operations.

You will help develop and optimize manufacturing processes, document changes with QA to maintain cGMP compliance, and troubleshoot/maintain automated radiochemistry

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry preferred.
• Experience in organic synthesis and purification chemistry is preferred.
• Directly related experience 3-5 years required or equivalent in cGMP pharmaceutical production.
• Experience handling radioactive materials, aseptic preparation and clean room is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient production and use of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a cGMP environment.
• Assist in day-to-day operation of radiochemistry equipment, analytics lab, and clean room.
• Develop and optimize PET manufacturing processes and document changes with QA to maintain compliance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance on automated radiochemistry equipment.
