Job summary

Wake Forest University Health Sciences' Academic Translational Imaging Program seeks a GMP-savvy radiopharmaceutical manufacturing specialist to develop and implement methods for PET radiotracer production for preclinical and clinical research. You will operate in a GMP environment, perform radiochemistry and QC, and help validate equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with organic/inorganic chemistry training.
• Academic training or experience in analytical methods, chemical synthesis, or GMP methods preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; proficient with Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture radiopharmaceuticals for preclinical/clinical research in GMP lab.
• Perform radiochemistry and QC operations following safety protocols.
• Develop SOPs and batch records; maintain detailed lab notes.
• Operate analytical instruments (HPLC, GC) and radiochemistry hot cells.
• Identify process improvements and assist in equipment qualification.
