Job summary

You will lead a hands-on research project focused on pet food innovation, run lab and pilot-scale experiments, and collaborate with product development, process development, and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Passion for science, innovation and problem solving.
• Enjoy designing experiments and working in the laboratory.
• Coursework or research in food processing, food engineering, ingredient functionality, or product development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a hands-on research project focused on pet food innovation, ingredient functionality, and product performance.
• Design and conduct lab and pilot-scale experiments to evaluate formulation and processing impact.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Process Development, Science & Technology, and cross-functional partners.
• Develop and evaluate technical hypotheses and translate findings into insights for future innovation.
• Analyze experimental data and provide technical recommendations.
• Support prototype development and evaluation of novel pet food concepts.
• Communicate progress through technical reports and presentations; present outcomes to R&D leadership.
