Shields Health Care is seeking a Nuclear Med/PET Technologist for per diem, part-time shifts in Massachusetts. Qualifications

• Must possess CPR certification.
• Must be registered by ARRT and/or NMTCB.
• Minimum 1 year nuclear medicine experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Proficient in starting IVs.
• Able to sit and use a computer for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET equipment to acquire images and quantify radiotracer uptake.
• Perform hot lab responsibilities.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.
• Accurately position and restrain patient as needed; monitor during scan.
• Record patient data in Tech Data Entry system and provide finalized films to radiologist.
• Clean and restock equipment and rooms; support clerical staff as needed.
