Job summary

SPCA Tampa Bay Florida Inc. is seeking a Marketing Intern to support digital media, social content, and promotional efforts for adoptable pets and outreach events. The role offers a $300 monthly stipend for 40 hours of work per month and provides hands-on nonprofit communications experience.

You will photograph pets, craft bios, create content for major social platforms, write blogs, script short videos, and help design event materials, while coordinating social calendars and assisting at events.

Qualifications

• Portfolio samples in writing, photography, social, or design.
• Familiar with major social media platforms.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work evenings/weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Take and upload pet photos; write engaging animal bios.
• Capture and post content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Write blogs and script content for short videos.
• Help design flyers and event materials.
• Attend events and assist with marketing tasks.
• Maintain social calendars and respond to online inquiries.
