Job summary

SPCA Tampa Bay Florida Inc. is seeking a Marketing Intern to support digital media, social content, and promotional efforts for our adoptable pets and outreach events. The internship offers a $300 monthly stipend for 40 hours of work per month and the chance to build a publishable portfolio.

You will take pet photos, write bios, post content across major social platforms, write blogs, and assist with event materials. Evening/weekend hours for events may be required.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with portfolio samples (writing, photography, social, or design).
• Enrolled or planning to enroll in Marketing or related degree program or course.
• Familiar with major social media platforms.
• Comfortable working around animals of all sizes.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work some evenings/weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Take and upload pet photos; write engaging animal bios.
• Capture and post content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Write blogs and script content for short videos.
• Help design flyers and event materials.
• Attend events and assist with marketing tasks.
• Maintain social calendars and respond to online inquiries.
