Job summary

Independence Pet Holdings seeks a Product Analyst to support pet insurance portfolio development and performance. You will help shape product strategy, underwriting guidelines, and market positioning while collaborating with Marketing, Actuarial, Underwriting, and Data teams to deliver system and process improvements.

The role emphasizes data‑driven decision making, regulatory compliance, and strong communication to guide product initiatives across a dynamic MGA environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science.
• 3+ years of Product Management experience within the insurance industry; pet insurance or MGA experience strongly preferred.
• Strong data-driven analysis and understanding of regulatory/compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support on underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, rating algorithms, and product strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Actuarial, Underwriting, Product Portfolio, Data & Analytics, and Implementation teams to deliver solutions.
• Monitor post‑implementation performance using KPIs and conduct portfolio analysis.
• Conduct deep competitor and market intelligence to inform strategy and pricing.
• Develop training materials and marketing assets for new or enhanced products.
