Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc. seeks a Injection Molding Master Tech to lead PET stretch blow molding operations in Kansas City, MO. You will install, rebuild, and tune PET machinery, supervise troubleshooting, and ensure products meet customer bottle specs.

You will guide new product launches, train operators, and optimize process settings across heating, parison, and cooling to maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Proficient in processing and qualifying PET bottles/containers.
• Ability to disassemble/assemble PET stretch blow molding machinery and related equipment to repair parts.
• Repair and replace malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose equipment problems using test results and operator input.

Responsibilities

• Lead role for new product launches and bottle qualifications.
• Advise plant operators and technicians on machine adjustments and maintenance.
• Adjust heaters, parison, air pressure, mold cooling and resin flow to meet specs.
• Train and develop processes to foster internal growth among staff.

Injection Molding Master Tech/Super Tech needed- Kansas City, MO

Are you a PET Injection Molding Master Technician (with advanced level processing and maintenance skills)? Can you install and rebuild PET Injection Molding machinery? Can you lead the processing of bottles or containers to troubleshoot, maintain and qualify according to customer bottle specifications?

Injection Stretch Blow Molding Machinery in Plant: Aoki and Nissei

• Six 1 step machines

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Process and qualify bottles/containers
• Ability to disassemble and assemble PET injection stretch blow molding machinery and auxiliary/downstream equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions
• Analyzes test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
• AC/DC motor and VFD drives and PLC Allen Bradley.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Train and develop processes to encourage internal growth with employees
• Lead role for new product launches and bottle qualifications
• Adjusting heats, parison adjustments, air pressure adjustments, machinal adjustments to the molds, cooling adjustments/dwell time, consistent resin flow so the container will within the customer requirements
• Advise plant operators, maintenance, and setup techs on machine adjustments, maintenance and processing, improvements in design and/or modifications needed to molds or tooling.
