PET Industrial Mechanic (Rotating Shift)

The incumbent is responsible for performing mechanical preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role includes equipment adjustments, calibrations, validation support, and contributing to quality control within a highly regulated environment. It requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance; routine tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery; assist in setup and installation of new equipment; conduct inspections; collaborate on maintenance schedules; coordinate with contractors.
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and automation systems; perform repairs to minimize downtime.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance records; utilize SAP and mobile devices for transactions.
  4. Collaboration: Work with production and quality teams to address equipment concerns.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols; stay informed about regulatory requirements; support emergency responses and spare parts management.
  6. Systems and Digital Tools: Use SAP and Building Management Systems; support troubleshooting and promote compliance with AZ processes.
Qualifications
  • Technical degree or equivalent; or 1+ year related experience.
  • Proficiency in at least three skills such as basic electricity, refrigeration, mechanics, or electronics.
  • Good communication skills in English; basic computer skills including MS Office and SAP.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving, utility operation knowledge, and maintenance skills.
