Job summary

Shields Health is seeking a PET Technologist Aide to support PET technologists, Front Office, Courier and SRS teams in a fast-paced clinical environment in Concord, MA.

Responsibilities include retrieving CDs and reports, delivering to referring physicians and radiologists, coordinating with outside CDs, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining a professional, caring atmosphere for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a Medical Imaging/Clinical setting.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk and use a computer for long periods.
• Must be able to assist patients with mobility and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support PET technologists, Front Office, Courier and SRS teams.
• Retrieve CDs and reports on PET patients and deliver to referring MDs.
• Retrieve and correlate outside CDs and reports for reading radiologist.
• Deliver CDs to reading radiologist at serviced facility.
• Communicate with and support SRS team and monitor outside CDs.
• Provide liaison services between Shields network, radiologists and referring community.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere for coworkers, radiologists, hospital staff and the referring community.
• Clean and re-supply equipment rooms as needed.
• Familiarize with Regulatory Compliance Regulations (DPH, Radiation Control).
