Job summary

Pennard Vets Sevenoaks is seeking a qualified hydrotherapist to run hydrotherapy sessions and support rehabilitation. You will work closely with the clinical team and contribute to treatment planning and client communication.

There is scope to expand to other Pennard sites if you are physiotherapy-qualified, including potential home visits. Hours are flexible, and Saturdays may be available but are not required.

Qualifications

• Qualified hydrotherapist — essential.
• Physiotherapy qualification (e.g. Level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Physiotherapy, ACPAT registration) — desirable.
• Good understanding of animal anatomy and physiology.
• Compassionate, patient, and a strong communicator with clients.
• Comfortable with the physical demands of hydrotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Running hydrotherapy (and physiotherapy, if qualified) sessions to aid recovery from surgery, injury and ageing.
• Building treatment plans with vets, and adjusting them as patients progress.
• Keeping clear clinical records and equipment well maintained.
• Booking and managing appointments.
• Advising clients on at-home care.
