Job summary
Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in delivering quality care to every patient. You will advocate for pets, educate clients, and help ensure a safe hospital environment.
You will apply NAVTA guidelines, maintain medical records, and promote preventative care plans while delivering exceptional client service and mentoring teammates to grow professionally.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of NAVTA guidelines for veterinary assistant duties.
- Commitment to exceptional client service.
- Promote Banfield’s services.
- Maintain proper medical records for each pet.
- Follow established protocols for client interaction and safety.
- Educate clients on Optimum Wellness Plans.
- Mentor other team members and help learning.
Responsibilities
- Put to use technical skills within state practice acts and NAVTA guidelines.
- Work with clients to provide exceptional professional service.
- Promote Banfield’s services.
- Maintain complete medical charts for each pet.
- Follow protocols for client interaction and ensure safety of pets and staff.
- Educate clients on the value of Optimum Wellness Plans.
- Mentor other team members and help others learn and grow.
