Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant who will support veterinarians and technicians, help maintain smooth patient flow, and educate clients about preventive care. You will work in a hospital setting, following NAVTA standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to perform NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and vet technicians to ensure safety of pets, clients and staff.
• Help maintain patient flow and hospital cleanliness.
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet techs throughout procedures.
• Carry out or set up procedures under supervision as needed.
• Educate clients about preventive care options and wellness plans.
