Job summary

Woof Gang Bakery Fleming Island is seeking a caring individual to start a career in the grooming industry. No experience needed; paid training covers safety, bathing, drying, ear cleaning, nail trims, and filing. Apprenticeship progresses into a Pet Stylist role over 6–12 months.

Duties include grooming, bathing, ear care, nail trimming, brushing, and customer service. Must be 18+, have HS diploma, and be willing to undergo background checks. Full‑time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a patient, caring dog lover with an interest in a career as a pet groomer.
• Must have compassion and patience with animals.
• Must bring a great attitude to work and possess a friendly positive attitude.
• Prior employment as a bather, grooming assistant or veterinary assistant preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pet dog grooming, bathing and drying.
• Clean ears, pluck ears and express glands.
• Nail trimming and filing.
• Brushing and deshedding.
• Laundry and general upkeep of tools and equipment.
• Provide customer service.
