Independent Pet Partners in Highland, IL is seeking a Groomer Apprentice to join a passionate pet-loving team. You will learn advanced grooming techniques through a mentorship program and provide an upscale grooming experience for pets and their parents.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional pet bathing or grooming assistance.
• Must complete 60/90 day bather assessment.
• Willingness to learn about the products and services offered.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Excellent listening and customer service skills.
• Good time management.

Responsibilities

• Complete grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, blow drying and trimming.
• Provide hands-on pet check-in and check-out for pets and parents.
• Engage with pet parents and educate them about products and services.
• Offer enhancements to grow the business.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Rebook with clients to ensure ongoing care.
