Bark & Mane is hiring groomers in the Fort Worth area who love animals and value independence. Work from a Mercedes-Benz van fully equipped with a hydrobath and grooming station, with scheduling support from the office.

Earn generous commissions and tips, with paid training to develop grooming skills. This full-time role offers a path to advance within a growing mobile grooming team serving pets and their families.

We've grown to a team of over 14 groomers with a strong supporting infrastructure. Enjoy the independence of grooming in your own van while having a solid team supporting everything from scheduling to van maintenance. We're focused on building for the long-term by doing things the right way and balancing productivity with sustainability.

The right candidate has a strong love for pets, a clean driving record, and is able to work independently without direct supervision. He or she must be able to communicate with pet family members about what is best for their pets. Strong animal handling skills are highly valuable, so if you have experience training or handling dogs, horses, or other animals, this job could be a great fit! We provide paid training to develop grooming skills.

Earn up to $1,500.00 or more per week.

Schedule

• 4 day per week schedules available (4 10-hour grooming days)
  • Wednesday - Saturday schedule
  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday schedule

We started with 1 van back in 2020 and have grown steadily to now operate 12 vans daily with a solid team backing our groomers. Lora & Sam, the owners, are both heavily involved in the business with Lora as one of our groomers since the beginning and Sam spending quite a bit of time filling in as a bather as needed, so we've built our team around respect for groomers - concern for their safety and wellbeing, providing growth and educational opportunities and emphasizing care for the pets and their treatment. While we're part of a franchise brand, we're very much a local business who takes a long-term perspective on building a good team and good customers.
