Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus 4007 is seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to deliver full-service dog grooming in a friendly neighborhood store. You’ll bathe, brush, clip, and style dogs, tailoring sessions to breed standards or parent requests while ensuring safety and comfort for every pet.

Build lasting relationships with local clients and contribute to a positive grooming salon experience. You will work in a fast-paced team environment, developing grooming techniques and helping grow the client base

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional pet grooming, dog grooming, or pet stylist experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with breed-standard cuts, hand scissoring, clipping, and finishing techniques.
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and safe handling practices.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Own grooming tools and equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service dog grooming including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling.
• Groom to breed standards or customize based on each pet parent's request.
• Safely handle and groom dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Deliver a grooming experience that highlights each pet's best appearance.
• Build relationships with neighbors and recommend pet products and services.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming salon environment.
• Support store events and help grow your client base through great service.
• Continue developing grooming techniques and skills to advance your career.
