Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking experienced Pet Groomers, Dog Groomers and Pet Stylists to join our pack. You will provide full grooming services in a neighborly, community-focused store environment, offering grooming that meets breed standards and client requests.

You’ll earn based on hourly pay or grooming earnings, with bonuses and a strong emphasis on safety, client relationships, and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional pet grooming or dog grooming experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with breed-standard cuts, hand scissoring, clipping, and finishing techniques.
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and safe handling practices.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle pets or equipment up to 65 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service dog grooming including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling.
• Earn hourly pay or grooming earnings, whichever is higher.
• Groom to breed standards or customize based on each pet parent’s request.
• Safely handle and groom dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Deliver a grooming experience that makes every pet look and feel their best.
• Build relationships with neighbors and recommend pet products and services.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming salon environment.
• Assist store team members during grooming downtime and support events.
