Petco Grooming is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for a variety of breeds. You will bathe, trim, style and maintain high standards of safety and care for every pet.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to Petco policies, and ongoing training to advance within grooming leadership tracks. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required to meet the grooming schedule.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and passion for animals.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling per client instructions.
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments such as clippers, blades, shears, brushes and dryers.
• Prioritize pet safety and well-being and monitor for signs of distress.
• Interact with pet parents, provide grooming recommendations and answer questions.
• Keep grooming area clean and sanitized and follow hygiene policies.
