Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or equivalent grooming training.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and animal handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, cuts and styling.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment.
• Ensure animal safety and comfort at all times and communicate with pet parents.
• Educate clients on grooming maintenance and at-home care practices.
