NVA Pet Resorts in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Professional Pet Groomer to join our pet spa team on a full-time basis.

You will perform grooming, consult clients, and promote services while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience preferred.
• Knowledge of breed standards and coat types.
• Strong scissoring and finishing skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Passion for animal care and safe handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional dog grooming, breed-specific trims.
• Conduct client consultations to align grooming goals.
• Recommend services and products for coat health.
• Monitor pets for health concerns and report observations.
• Maintain equipment and a clean workspace.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after appointments.
• Follow safety and animal handling standards.
• Grow salon revenue through upselling and targets.
• Attend team meetings and trainings.
• Perform other grooming tasks as assigned by site lead.
