Job summary

Digs Dog Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Groomer to join our devoted grooming team. You will perform breed-appropriate bathing, trimming, and styling while ensuring the comfort and safety of every pet.

Directly interact with owners to capture detailed instructions and provide updates during and after appointments. Lead Groomers with 5+ years of experience may have opportunities for training, scheduling support, and advancement within our growing salon network.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional pet grooming experience in a salon, veterinary, or mobile grooming environment.
• Proficiency in grooming a variety of breeds and coat types.
• Strong knowledge of safe animal handling practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift pets up to 50 lbs if needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Grooming dogs and cats to breed-appropriate standards.
• Bathing, brushing, drying, trimming, and styling.
• Provide nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic health observations.
• Communicate with clients and owners about instructions and follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary grooming space and safe equipment.
