CityVet Celina Crossing Groomer - Associate is a hands-on role focused on dog and pet grooming, bathing, nail trims, ear cleanings, and haircuts. The position emphasizes building lasting client relationships through quality grooming and clear communication, with daily scheduling to meet client needs.

The role requires at least 1 year of grooming experience or formal instruction, and the ability to safely restrain animals. It starts hourly with potential commission as the first year progresses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years experience as a groomer or formal grooming training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to restrain animals safely.
• Strong client communication and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage grooming schedule to coordinate client needs with staff.
• Communicate with clients and maintain electronic records.
• Train and supervise bathing team.
• Complete 10–12 grooms per day with bathing or 6 per day without bathing.
