CityVet is seeking a Pet Groomer to maintain animals' appearance and meet client expectations. The role emphasizes building lasting client relationships through high-quality grooming services, including bathing, nail trims, ear cleanings, and haircuts.

The position starts as hourly and transitions to commission within a year based on business needs, with benefits supporting team members. 18+ age, grooming experience, and proper animal restraint are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Groomer or grooming program graduate.
• Ability to restrain animals safely.

Responsibilities

• Manage the grooming schedule to meet client needs and staff availability; average 10–12 grooms per day with bathing help or 6 grooms without bathing help.
• Communicate with clients to document grooming preferences and animal habits in electronic records.
• Train, supervise, and develop bathing staff and ensure positive workmanship.
