Job summary

Pet Paradise in Saint Augustine, FL seeks a Professional, Friendly, and Motivated Pet Stylist/Groomer. Earn 50% commission on grooms and 40% on baths with a sign-on bonus and potential extra bonuses.

Join a pet-loving team in a safe, fun environment with ongoing training and opportunities to grow. Responsibilities include client consultations, grooming pets safely, and maintaining a clean grooming area while expanding the customer base.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds and sizes.
• One-year related grooming experience or training.
• Great work ethic; organized, reliable and a team player.
• Must maintain a clean and healthy environment for pets.
• Flexibility to work resort schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and explain services and costs.
• Groom and bathe pets in a safe, skilled manner.
• Check for parasites, lumps, or cuts before bathing.
• Clean ears, trim nails, and express glands as needed.
• Bathe, demat, brush, and blow-dry as required.
• Maintain grooming room and sanitize equipment after use.
• Engage guests and grow the customer base with calls and cross-sell.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by managers.
