Qualifications

• Pet Stylist Apprentice program completed with Petco, or grooming experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment (clippers, blades, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize pet safety, comfort, and well-being; ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Interact with pet parents; offer grooming recommendations and respond to questions.
• Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care.
