Job summary

Petco in Sequim is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for our customers’ pets, ensuring high standards of care and customer satisfaction.

You will perform bathing, drying, styling, and nail care, while maintaining a clean grooming area and following Petco policies. Weekend and holiday availability may be required, with opportunities for career growth in grooming leadership.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or previous experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program
• High‑school diploma or GED preferred, though not required
• Latitude for independent judgement and problem solving with grooming skills

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments such as clippers, blades, and dryers
• Prioritize safety and well‑being of pets and deliver high customer satisfaction
• Interact with pet parents and provide grooming recommendations
