Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide professional grooming services and exceptional care for pets. You will perform bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, with attention to safety and pet well‑being.

Responsibilities include nail trimming, ear cleaning, and maintaining a clean salon while delivering outstanding customer service. Weekend/evening availability is required, and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or a professional grooming training program.
• High‑school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Latitude for independent judgement and problem solving in grooming situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling.
• Nail trimming, ear cleaning and gland cleaning as part of grooming sessions.
• Maintain a clean, safe salon and comply with Petco hygiene policies.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide grooming recommendations.
