Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a QA Laboratory professional for a Rockingham County facility near the Virginia border to oversee pathogen monitoring and QA compliance in food manufacturing.

The role requires at least 1 year in a lab/QA or food manufacturing setting and entails maintaining lab equipment, coaching staff, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of laboratory, quality assurance and/or food manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of basic QA processes and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee factory Pathogen Monitoring Program.
• Interact extensively with the operations group and influence, coach, and train all other factory personnel with regards to QA requirements and expectations.
• Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including the maintenance, cleaning, and calibration.
• Work as a team with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives.
