Job summary

Nestlé Purina’s Rockingham County facility is hiring a Factory Quality Technician (Microbiologist) to lead routine microbiological evaluations across production environments and processing systems. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of laboratory, quality assurance and/or food manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee factory Pathogen Monitoring Program.
• Interact extensively with the operations group and influence, coach, and train all other factory personnel with regards to QA requirements and expectations.
• Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including the maintenance, cleaning, and calibration.
• Work as a team with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives.
