Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. We seek a motivated R&D Technologist to join our Animal Health and Pet Nutrition team to develop, manufacture, test, and commercialize pet flavors and palatants.

The successful candidate will work in a hands-on laboratory and pilot plant, supporting product development from concept through commercialization, with experience in flavor formulation, powder blending, food ingredients, or

Qualifications

Bachelor's or technical degree in food science, animal science, sensory science or related field.
1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical excipients or related areas.
Strong math and calculation skills with attention to documentation.
Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Experience with pet food, treats, or animal health products.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manufacture prototype formulations for pet flavors and palatants.
Execute batch manufacturing activities following Master Batch Records (MBRs).
Support flavor and palatant development projects through formulation, blending, and process optimization.
Assist scientists in evaluating and improving product performance.
Conduct analytical and bench-top testing of prototypes and finished products.
Coordinate testing with analytical laboratories and perform self-service testing as required.
Collect, analyze, and document technical data accurately.
Prepare customer and internal R&D samples.
Package, label, and document samples according to company procedures.
Support customer requests and product evaluations.
