Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Driver to safely transport specimens from hospitals to the laboratory while delivering superior customer support to our clientele. The role focuses on timely, careful handling and adherence to safety guidelines.

Shift schedule includes Sunday and evenings; you must maintain a clean driving record and communicate clearly with supervision. This role supports pet health through reliable logistics and professional service.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 36 months of driving experience as evidenced by a current MVR.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Communication skills.
• Neat, professional appearance.
• Clean driving record.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Driver and Safety Handbook policies and protocols.
• Proper route preparation (coolers, icepacks, biopsy bags, vehicle checklist).
• Timely delivery of client supplies and specimens to the appropriate destination.
• Maintain specimen integrity at all times, including the utilization of specimen carry bag to transport specimens from client office/lock box to vehicle.
• Efficient and timely completion of routes.
• Follow route as scheduled/sequenced while allowing for special pick-ups.
• Use logistics software for route pick-ups; data entry and photos may be required.
• Operate vehicle safely with valid license and driving record.
• Ensure route has proper equipment and tools.
• Complete late return form when ETA is exceeded.
• Use and complete 'We Were Here, But No Specimens Available' tags.
• Provide courteous and professional client interactions.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor.
• Communicate with Transportation Supervisor on route issues.
• Represent Antech positively at all times.
• Comply with timekeeping, attendance, safety requirements.
• Assist in other duties related to transportation services.
