Job summary

Shared Medical Services in Vandalia, IL, is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team. The position requires Monday as a schedule anchor, with potential for full-time hours across multi-state locations.

You will perform imaging with radiopharmaceuticals, run quality checks, and uphold compassionate patient care while protecting privacy. Graduates of Nuclear Medicine Technology programs (or near graduates) who are NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N) eligible and able to obtain permits will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with little supervision.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality
