Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks a PET/CT Technologist to join our team. You will operate a state-of-the-art mobile scanner and deliver high-quality imaging in local communities. This full-time role emphasizes stability, employee ownership, and career growth within SMS ONETEAM.

Excellent communication, compassionate patient care, and compliance with safety and quality standards are essential. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
• Ability to receive permit to practice as necessary.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with little supervision.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform equipment quality checks and adhere to QA guidelines.
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full-time, employee-centric organization. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.

Responsibilities:

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program
