Job summary

New York Imaging (NYI) seeks a PET/CT Technologist (Float) to support East, NY operations. You will administer radioactive compounds and perform imaging with state‑of‑the‑art PET/CT systems. Build patient confidence and provide high‑quality images to radiologists.

Requirements include NMTCB/ARRT credentials and an active NY license, with 2+ years in the field. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a NMTCB program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification by NMTCB and/or ARRT-N required.
• Additional NMTCB(CT) and/or ARRT(CT) certifications preferred.
• Active New York State license required.
• At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine or PET/CT.

Responsibilities

• Administer radioactive compounds for imaging procedures.
• Perform patient imaging using PET/CT and related equipment.
• Process and enhance images with advanced computer systems.
• Provide images and data to physicians for interpretation.
• Monitor patients and report any abnormalities to radiologists.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiologic equipment.
• Maintain ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Participate in quality control and regulatory compliance.
