For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

• Performs all required exams, ensuring high-quality patient care and adequate radiation protection at all times.
• Performs all general, invasive, and imaging processes and procedures involved in PET/CT utilizing technology that merges radiopharmaceutical imaging technology with other forms for medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT) equipment.

Requirements

• Education/Training: Satisfactory completion AMA approved school for Diagnostic Radiologic Technology. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Experience: PET/CT experience required. Must possess a high degree of knowledge and understanding in services and technology.
• Licensure, Registration or Certification: Must be licensed by New York State, and registered NMTCB and/or Nuclear ARRT. Must be BLS certified from the American Heart Association.
