Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a PET/CT Technologist for Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day-shift position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an on-call rotation every three months and one holiday call per year.
You will administer radioactive medications, operate imaging equipment, and prepare patients for scans while following Florida Radiation Control regulations and safety protocols.

This PET Technologist will be responsible for providing patients with radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track the radiation within the patient's body. Their duties include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for a scan, and processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease.
Performing high-quality diagnostic procedures.
Knowledge of the State of (and adherence to) Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials.
Protecting patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure.
Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.
The PET Technologist will be located at Baptist South.
