Description

We offer an excellent compensation package! This includes an annual profit-share bonus, pay the hourly rate door-to-door, reimburse mileage at the IRS rate for all but 60 miles/trip, a guaranteed pay program, cell phone stipend, clothing allowance, and more.

We are seeking a PET/CT Technologist to work 3 days a week in Enid and Grove, OK. The technologist will operate scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues, ensuring high-quality, accurate results safely and effectively. Flexibility to provide backup support within the region is required, with route assignments subject to change based on business needs.

Essential Duties
  1. Utilize radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents for diagnostic PET, PET/CT, and CT examinations.
  2. Provide quality patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.
  3. Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
  4. Perform technical procedures requiring independent judgment.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists to ensure smooth imaging processes and detailed image capture.
  6. This role may require travel up to 100% of the time.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

The standard work week is Monday-Friday, with flexible scheduling to provide backup coverage for absences and other needs within the region.

Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience/training, or equivalent.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Ability to follow instructions under stress.
  • Good bedside manner and adaptability to various personalities.
  • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • CNMT or RT (N), CPR certification, and other required certifications (such as TB, advanced modality certification) to be obtained within 18 months of hire.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs.
  • Push/pull wheelchairs.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Assist with non-ambulatory patient transfers.
