Job summary

Job Summary

We are currently hiring for a PET/CT Technologist at our Northern NJ facilities. The role is full‑time and requires exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, and radiation safety/regulations with proper documentation when working with radioactive materials.
  • Produce high‑quality diagnostic images and effectively interpret physician orders/instructions to select appropriate software options and imaging parameters.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and/or radiologists.
  • Train new technologists and/or PCs.
  • Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • State license, as required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver’s license (as applicable).
  • Ability to work at several locations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • 1‑2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies.

Salary

Estimated hourly pay range for this role in New Jersey is $55.34 – $71.95. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors such as internal equity and budget.
