Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.# **Key Performance Areas:**# **KPA 1. Nuclear Medicine Imaging & Radiopharmaceutical Administration** Prepare, calculate, administer, measure, and record radiopharmaceutical dosages in accordance with physician prescriptions; perform diagnostic imaging procedures and produce accurate images for physician interpretation.**KPA 2. Radiation Safety, Compliance & Quality Control** Ensure safe handling, storage, calibration, and disposal of radioactive materials; maintain imaging and laboratory equipment; comply with all federal, state, and organizational safety regulations and quality standards.**KPA 3. Patient Care, Education & Safety** Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients, provide assistance during examinations, protect patient rights, and maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.**KPA 4. Regulatory Compliance & Professional Credentialing** Maintain active state licensure in Nuclear Medicine and General Radiography; meet continuing education requirements; adhere to all federal, state, and organizational policies related to patient care, billing, IT, and disaster recovery.**KPA 5. Operational Support & Team Collaboration** Maintain a safe, organized work environment; assist with training new employees; support clinic operations by working across locations and overtime as needed to meet business demands.# **Required Qualifications:****Education*** High school education required**Minimum Relevant Experience*** 1 year of experience as PET Technologist preferred**Certifications/Licenses*** State CRT, Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) license* ARRT Certification preferred* BLS certification required**Previous Experience**:* Minimum of one (1) year active experience as a PET/CT Technologist is required. Will consider recent graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program that is eligible to sit for their registry.
