Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and document PET/PET-CT images and deliver patient-centered care at the Indianapolis campus.

The role requires NMTCB certification within 18 months, CT credentialing, and BLS; responsibilities include patient care, exam performance, documentation, and education for patients and students. On-site position with a supportive imaging team.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Imaging or Allied Health is preferred.
  • NMTCB certification required within 18 months.
  • CT NMTCB certification required within 18 months or equivalent.
  • ARRT-CT certification required.
  • BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Implement patient care.
  • Quality Control/NRC Documentation.
  • Implement patient exam.
  • Finalize exam by completing all paperwork and delivering exam to designated area.
  • Provide education to patients and students.
  • Active participation in team processes.

Education

Associate’s Degree Imaging or Allied Health - Preferred
Nuclear Medicine Technician Certification Board (NMTCB) - The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board - Required within 1 1/2 years
Computed Tomography - NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) - Required within 1 1/2 years, OR
