Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate PET/CT or PET/MR systems, perform radiopharmaceutical distribution, and acquire diagnostic images under physician supervision. Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must have active status through ARRT NM or NMTCB CNMT.
• Advanced CT certification through ARRT or NMTCB within 18 months for PET CT.
• Advanced MRI certification through ARRT RT(MR) or ARMRIT within 18 months for PET MR.
• Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and imaging protocols.
• Knowledge of PACS/RIS for training and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, mathematics, chemistry, physics, radiation safety, clinical nuclear instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and operation of PET/CT or PET/MR equipment for image acquisition and radiopharmaceutical distribution.
• Performs diagnostic CT or MR and fusion of PET/CT or PET/MR images for physician interpretation.
• Treats patients with care and respect.
